What is Toxaprevent SKIN Powder?
Toxaprevent SKIN Powder is used to absorb and remove toxic substances from the surface of the skin and open wounds. The active ingredient MANC (Modified and Activated Natural Clinoptilolite) is a clean form of zeolite which has the ability to absorb Heavy Metals (Lead and Mercury), Histamine and ammonium from the skin and in wounds to promote faster healing.
How does MANC work?
MANC particles have ‘cages’ where toxins can be stored using a process called ion exchange. Its negative charge attracts positively charged toxins and selectively absorbs them. The particle size is optimised to ensure Toxaprevent is not absorbed by the skin. MANC is then washed off, removing the toxic substances it is has absorbed from skin and wounds.
Open wounds, leg ulcers and bed sores: Wound closures can be difficult to achieve in open wounds such as leg ulcers and bed sores. This is particularly problematic in those with poor blood circulation and diabetes sufferers. Toxaprevent skin powder forms a protective layer of MANC over wounds and stops pathogens and micro-organisms from entering. This reduces the spread of bacteria and infection. Histamine is also absorbed and eliminated from the wound. This prevents inflammation, whilst the elimination of heavy materials (eg. lead and mercury) speeds up the healing process. Blood clotting is then triggered by the calcium enriched MANC and healing within the wounds can begin.
Allergic skin reactions and bug bites/stings: The skin is covered in histamine receptors and reacts to the environment around it. It produces a histamine response when it is bitten, stung or comes into contact with certain foreign substances e.g. chemicals, irritants, stinging nettles, etc. Inflammation is then created on the skin as a result. Immediately after a reaction starts, Toxaprevent Skin Powder should be applied to absorb histamine from the affected area. This will reduce the size of the inflammation which is created on the skin by eliminating histamine before it inflames the skin. If the reactions begin oozing, the skin powder can be used to help close the open wound.
