Sunscreen Protection without Titanium Dioxide
Dr Mercola have removed titanium dioxide from their sunscreen products (except SPF 50), which means that now, they contain only zinc oxide for active UVA and UVB ray protection. Zinc oxide is a mineral that is found naturally in the earth's crust. For the sunscreen products, a form is used that is derived from natural sources. Zinc oxide has been used all over the world for over 75 years as a safe ingredient to help prevent excessive sun exposure.
Each ingredient in this outstanding product has been carefully chosen to specifically protect and nourish your skin. Unlike some chemical sunscreens that may absorb ultraviolet light, zinc oxide helps reflect and scatter away both UVA and UVB rays from your body. This is accomplished by using a larger particle size, no nano-particles are used. This is important because we don’t yet know the effects of nano-particles on the body.
Although you may notice a small amount of visible white on your skin when applied heavily, this zinc oxide sunscreen applies smoothly onto your skin, unlike the old pasty zinc creams that many of us may remember lifeguards wearing decades ago.

SPF 30 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen provides just the right amount of coverage for most activities with 20% zinc oxide. Water resistant for 40 minutes.
SPF 15 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen contains 9.5% zinc oxide and is water resistant for 40 minutes.
So you have a choice, depending on your needs and your personal skin type, you can select either lighter protection or our maximum broad-spectrum protection against powerful UVB and UVA rays. With or without titanium dioxide!

Astaxanthin: Astaxathin is one of nature's most powerful antioxidants.
Sunflower Oil and Wax: Sunflower oil is a moisturiser that contains vitamins A, D, and E. This soothing ingredient is often used to moisturise dry, weathered, and aged skin. Sunflower wax helps make sunscreen water-resistant without the use of petroleum products.
Lecithin: Lecithin is found in the membranes of plant cells (soy). It is widely used in cosmetics as an emollient and water-binding agent.
Coconut oil: Coconut oil has been used by islanders for hundreds of years to moisturise their skin and is likely to be mild and gentle on your skin.
Glycerine: Used as an emollient, glycerine moisturises your skin.
Jojoba oil: Jojoba oil is a non-fragrant natural emollient that has moisturising and skin-conditioning properties.
Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E): Tocopheryl acetate also acts as a natural preservative.
Shea butter: Shea butter is a natural plant lipid used as a thickener and emulsifier. It also has effective moisturising properties.
Eucalyptus oil: Eucalyptus oil is an essential oil. When mixed with other oils, it can be absorbed by your skin. Best of all, it may assist other oils in absorption, as well, which can support the moisturising process.
Aloe vera gel: Aloe contains over 130 active compounds and 34 amino acids believed to be beneficial to your skin.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
