The British Broth Company Bone Broth

The British Broth Company is a British bone broth manufacturer and producer of Bone broth, fermented drinks including water kefir juice and apple cider vinegar. Their apple cider vinegar is produced using apples from their own orchard. They are the only UK bone broth manufacturer to hold a dual license to produce and sell our bone broth for human and pet consumption.

Boil and Broth was founded back in March 2018 by Rachel Down. She started the business from one slow cooker in her house making bone broth and kefir water for friends and family. Rachel had recently transformed her health after suffering for 3 years from Candida overgrowth, a condition she developed after the birth of her two children.

Rachel was unable to find support from conventional medicine, so researched gut health and that was when she discovered bone broth. Since reversing her health condition, Rachel has been on a mission to support other people with their health challenges. This has now extended into the pet industry where the Boil and Broth is globally recognised.

At the heart of this product lies a meticulous process starting with grass-fed bones (depending on the product purchased), water, and organic apple cider vinegar.

Through a precise pressure cooking method, The British Broth Company extract the proteins and dry the broth, resulting in an impressive 4% protein content. They take pride in offering a pure and unadulterated product, free from emulsifiers or preservatives.

Unlike other brands, The British Broth Company believe in the natural integrity of this broth and its ability to maintain its rich composition without any additional substances.

The drying process retains the nutritional value of the broth, ensuring you receive all the benefits without compromise. Rehydrating the broth following the guidelines and allowing it to set in the fridge for 24 hours will allow you to witness the presence of collagen.

The health benefits of Broth Protein Powder are vast.

As a 100% pure protein source, it contains vital amino acids, including Ovine Collagen Type I, along with other essential proteins. Additionally, this broth is rich in glucosamine and chondroitin.

Using The British Broth Company Broth Protein Powder is simple. Utilise the provided scoop and measure out a level scoop of powder (approximately 5g). Add the powder to a jug or cup, followed by 100ml of boiling hot water. Stir well to prevent clumping, and allow it to cool before consumption. You can enjoy it on its own or incorporate it into your meals for an extra protein boost.

When it comes to storage, the Broth Protein Powder is designed to maintain its quality over time. Store the dried broth in an airtight container for up to 2 years. Once prepared, the liquid broth can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Alternatively, you can prepare and freeze your broth, extending its shelf life to 1 year.

Ingredients: British grass fed lamb bones, filtered water, homemade apple cider vinegar (processing ingredient).
