from earth to earth are an English Company with the aim of raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging others to consider ways to help safeguard and protect it by changing our consuming and manufacturing habits. Thus “f.e.t.e.” is all about utilising natural resources that come as directly FROM the EARTH as possible and which can then, after it’s usefulness has ceased, return TO the EARTH as part of the natural and ecological order of things.
It occurred to the founders of f.e.t.e that almost every single person on Earth uses a toothbrush every day and these end up in landfills. There are decades of brushes that have been made from plastics and some also contain electronics. f.e.t.e therefore aim to stem the ride of pollution through waste by switching to a bio-degradable lifestyle.
Brush up on the facts about F.E.T.E.brushes
All packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable, biodegradable & home compostable.
Family packs of bamboo toothbrushes come in soft, medium and hard bristles to suit your needs.
Bristles are attached with pressure into the brush head negating the need for glue.
The bamboo used is moso bamboo and is not eaten by pandas.
These toothbrushes can be composted but because the bristles are made of nylon, they need to be pulled out and thrown away in your general waste or taken to a facility that recycles nylon.
Bamboo toothbrushes are coloured with natural resin paint, a kind of plant paint – this allows you to compost your toothbrush handle.
Bamboo is the worlds fastest naturally renewing resource which is also inherently anti-microbial, anti- fungal and anti-bacterial. Which means, it has no need for pesticides and is allowed to grow naturally.
